Assistant Stage Manager
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks
Bozeman, Montana
Director: Kevin Asselin
Organization of all paperwork, line notes, script changes, blocking. Due to the touring nature of the show kept track of all properties, sound cues, and lighting cues. Creating systems for properties to stay organized and remain easy to manage for tour. Acting as the Bozeman show Lighting Board Operator.
On the left side, the rehearsal process of choreographing the fight and my job was to track all of the movements and specific choreography for each actor as seen by the scene breakdown and blocking sheets. On the right side, is the performance version of the big battle.
Working on Shakespeare leads to many script changes, one of my jobs was to keep the script changes log up to date and create my own version of the script that had each change that was made.
Pictured above is two of the tracking paperwork I created for the production: Props + Sound Cues.
Left: Organization of the cubby hole of the stage left ladderback with a hidden compartment of props labeled for ease for touring actors.
Right: My view as the Lighting Board Operator for the Bozeman Duck Ponds shows.
